Delgado Family Vineyards is devoted to hand crafting artisanal wines that reflect the unique character and quality of the land.
As a small, privately owned and operated vineyard, we put the highest level of care and personal attention into our winemaking, perfecting the flavors of our Chardonnay and Pinot noir wines year after year.
In fact, our 2014 chardonnay and pinot noir received Double Gold Medals in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest competition of American wines in the world.

The History of Delgado Family Vineyards
Our history starts with Miguel, a young boy growing up in Columbus, Ohio. Miguel’s desire to live in a warmer climate eventually led him to sunny California. He attended UCSF Medical School, splitting time between San Francisco and the wine country.
Following plastic surgery training in New York, Miguel returned to the Bay Area where he soon met his wife Becky, started a family and established his practice.
Among other interests, the couple shared a love of winemaking, producing their first wine, a custom crush, 25 years ago. The wine was average – best used for dressing a salad. Over the years, however, the couple continued to make small lots of wine, focusing exclusively on chardonnay and pinot noir. In 2005, they purchased a 23-acre parcel in the Sonoma Coast Appellation where their dream of creating world-class wines was realized.
